Chop-O-Holics Card Club was started by myself in Aug 2006.
My reason for starting this was purely because I loved, & still do, making cards but had no outlet, so it was either give up & sell all my craft items & tools or think about what I could do.
I spent many an hour pondering and came up with an on-line club!
At first it was very tiring and the work was endless, as I emailed and advertised in so many places my work was certainly cut out for me!
I had members come & go for quite a while until it was established and the members could see what I was doing for them.
They quickly made friends from all over the country, members that were house bound through disabilities began to live again, some have said I have saved their sanity! Even said what did they do before joining my Card Club!
I listened to their needs & worked many an hour to achieve what it is today almost 2 years later!
About the Club: We all send each other Birthday Cards, this is a MUST, failure to do so members have been removed, During the year Anniversary/Bereavement/Christmas Cards etc....are sent, this is purely your choice.
You can be as much involved with the club as you wish, I have an active section this is where you will receive emails from me, from other members, like a daily blog, jokes to brighten your day are sent, competitions are run by myself and other members, I also have a silent section if you prefer to simply send cards on members Birthdays.
Over the two years the website has flourished, My husband & I recently spent approx 36 hours improving the look of the site, making it more manageable and easier to use.
I have a forum and two chat rooms should you wish to contact fellow members.
Recently this year I started an International section, so far I have 7 members from America & Australia!
